Unlike to other parts of the world, Express ways are still a new phenomenon to the Sri Lankan society. ‘Mama Newei Wena Kenek’ (It’s Not Me) is the story of a man who has made his life reckless due to contentment and complications experienced because of the expressway.

The play is performed by Shyam Fernando, Jayani Senanayake, Sampath Jayaweera, Theruni Ashansha, Anuradha Mallawarachchi and a few others. Ranga Samarakoon serves as light director and line producer. The play is produced by Lakmal Prashan Gunawardena.
