Sri Lanka, Germany to launch joint tourism promotion program

Lanka and Germany will launch a joint program to promote tourism, Minister of Industrial Export and Investment Promotion and Minister of Tourism and Civil Aviation, Prasanna Ranatunga said.

A discussion in this regard was held between German Ambassador to Sri Lanka, Jorn Rohde and Minister Ranatunga and it was decided that this program will be executed jointly by the Ministry of Tourism and the Embassy of German in Sri Lanka.

The German Embassy will also assist in Sri Lanka Tourism to adopt new digital and other marketing techniques to promote tourism.

The potential of German entrepreneurs investing in Sri Lankan industrial sector was also discussed at this meeting.
