CID ordered to submit report on probes on Swiss Embassy employee’s phone

The Colombo Chief Magistrate Lanka Jayarathna today instructed the Attorney General’s Department to provide necessary legal instructions to Criminal Investigations Department once the Government Analyst’s report was received pertaining to the mobile phone of Swiss Embassy employee Garnier Banister Francis .

The Chief Magistrate further ordered the CID to submit a report regarding the progress of the investigation into the incident on March 31.

Swiss Embassy employee Garnier Banister Francis  is claiming that she was allegedly kidnapped and threatened by a group of unidentified persons. She was currently out of bail.
