CONFERENCE:

The fifth edition of the Raisina Dialogue 2020 which is India’s annual global conference on geopolitics and geo-economics was held in New Delhi from January 14 to16, 2020. The dialogue was jointly organized by the Ministry of External Affairs(MEA) and the Observer Research Foundation (ORF). The event was held under the patronage of Indian Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi with the participation of 700 guests including world leaders, international policymakers, experts, academia, intellectuals and journalists from over 100 countries. Mahabodhi Society of Sri Lanka Chairman and the Chief Sangha Nayaka of Japan Ven.Banagala Upatissa Thera was the Sri Lankan and the only Buddhist monk to have been invited to this Dialogue in New Delhi.
