National Development Bank (NDB), who started on a negative note, losing their first two matches, ended their league stage matches on a positive note, registering their fourth successive win, beating the 2019 – runner-up, Central Finance by 06 wickets, in the ongoing 01st ‘CBL-Munchee’ Trophy – MCA ‘D’ division 40 over League Tournament 2020, continued last week-end.
After three wins in a row, Hemas Group crashed with two defeats in a row, losing to NDB by 04 wickets and David Pieris Motor Co. by 02 runs.
Ansell Lanka registered their third win on the trot with crushing 136-run win over DPMC.
Week-end’s batting honours went to Charuka Raveen from NDB (80 Vs. Central Finance) and the bowling to Chathura Sanjeewa from Ansell Lanka (5 for 30 Vs. DPMC).
