Police conducted a special operation in the Western Province covering all police divisions from 6.00 am to 6.00 pm on January 19 and arrested a total of 755 suspects, Police headquarters said in a media statement.
They included 627 ordinary suspects and 128 suspects evading court warrants.
The operation was conducted under the supervision of senior DIG Western Province and Traffic.
