Sinhala cinema completes 73 years today. The ‘Film Annual 2018’ which has been edited by Anton J Fernando will be launched as a National Film Corporation publication on this day.
The book comprises details about the 27 films which were released in 2018. It includes the casting and technical details of the films, the song lyrics, the cinemas in which the films were released and reviews about the films.
The book has 192 pages. Seasoned filmmaker Professor Sunil Ariyaratne has written the forward for the book. The book will be handy reference for all those who are engaging in research about the films screened in 2018.
