Kaveen does Prince of Wales proud

Fourth year colursman and the Captain of Prince of Wales College first eleven Hockey Team and last years captain of the Junior National Hockey Team Edirimuni Kaveen Lankadithya Zoysa toured for the AHF Cup with the Sri Lanka under 21 hockey team which was worked off at Muscat, Oman.

Kaveen who had his entire education of Prince of Wales College was encouraged to commence Hockey by his father Nirosh Zoysa who taught his son the basics of the game.

He was selected for the under 20 Sri Lanka schools team at the Asian Schools Hockey Championship in Gopal where Sri Lankan stickers became fifth.

He was a member of the under 20 combined schools champion team and in 2017 they were the champions and in 2018 ended up as runners up.

In 2019 he was appointed as the school captain and he led his alma-matter to victory in the second hockey big match against Presidents College Maharagama.

Last year he captained the Sri Lanka Schools team in the Junior Nationals and end of last year he toured with the Sri Lanka under 21 team to Muscat Oman for the AHF Cup.
