A hurricane 112 runs by Ashan Dilhara helped St. John’s College Panadura to beat Christ King College Ja-Ela by ten wickets in their inter school first eleven cricket match played at Panadura.
Ashan hit eleven fours and eight sixes and occupied the crease for 96 minutes and faced 72 balls. Batting first visitors were all out for 105 runs with Abishek Sanju claiming 5 for 36 and in reply Johnians scored 223 runs and Udan Ravindu bagged 4 for 56 for the visitors. In their second essay Christ king scored 122 with Shiran Jayasiri scoring 52 runs and S. Karunaratne captured 6 for 54. Johnians notched up the required score for no loss.
