Sri Lanka Association of Inbound Tour Operators (SLAITO), congratulates Thilak Weerasinghe, on his appointment to the Board of Airport & Aviation Services (Sri Lanka) Limited and Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority (SLTDA).
Weerasinghe as a respected member and Vice President of SLAITO, brings a vast wealth of knowledge and experience in Tourism to the table. Weerasinghe has also represented SLAITO on the Board of Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority (SLTDA) and the Tourism Strategic Committee from 2015 to 2019.
The Sri Lanka Association of Inbound Tour Operators (SLAITO), as the apex body in Tourism, is the representation of reputed inbound tour operators of Sri Lanka. SLAITO has so far been the most influential and guiding institution for policy makers in Sri Lanka to overcome challenges faced and to place Sri Lanka in the world’s travel map while representing its members.
SLAITO plays a vital role in all significant private sector decision-making forums and is affiliated to The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce. It is known as the only Association that relates to inbound tourism, where 90% of all inbound tourist influx is organized by the SLAITO membership.
