Van crashes into gate, house in Ambalangoda

A speeding van to Galle has veered off the road at the Ambalangoda roundabout on January 11 night, crashed into a nearby gate of a shop and hit a concrete pole of a front part of a house.

The occupants of the house have been inside of the house at the time.

Five persons have been in the van and they have sustained minor injuries in the accident. The van has been extensively damaged. Ambalangoda police are investigating.
