Five hundred buses for SLTB underIndian grant

The Cabinet of Ministers approved a proposal for the procurement of 400 new buses with 50 to 54 seats each and an additional 100 new buses with seating capacity between 32 and 35 each.

Cabinet spokesperson and Information and Communications Technology, Higher Education, Technology and Innovations Minister Dr. Bandula Gunawardena told the media yesterday that the procurement valued at US$ 15.03 million was under the Indian loan grant scheme.
