Jude Nilukshan assumes duties

New Director General of the National Budget Department, (NBD) Jude Nilukshan assumed duties yesterday.

Nilukshan, who is a Grade One Sri Lanka Administrative Service Officer, was previously a Senior Assistant Secretary at the Cabinet Secretariat. In the past he has worked as an Assistant Director and a Director at the National Budget Department and a Director at the Customs Department.

He has a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Sri Jayawardenapura and a Master’s in International Trade and Economic Cooperation from the Kyung Hee University in South Korea.
