ASSUMES DUTIES

 Senior Sri Lanka Administrative Service officer and one-time Colombo Municipal Commissioner Badrani Jayawardena has been appointed the new Health Ministry Secretary. Jayawardena assumed duties at the Ministry on Wednesday in the presence of Health Minister Pavithra Wanniarachchi, Health Services Director General Dr Anil Jasinghe and State Health Ministry Secretary Vijitha Seneviratne.
