The annual cake mixing ceremony at the Earl’s Regency

As the season awaits, Earl’s Regency took the lead in preparing for the festive season with its annual cake mixing ceremony.

The event was held with much excitement with the participation of the Management Team. Buwaneka Bandara, the Resident Manager and Davinda Basanayake, the Executive Chef together with his crew and the in-house guests, completed the mixing, actively involved in the fruit soaking event.

Preserved ginger strips, fruits, raisins, assorted nuts and sultans, mamalade peel, dark cherries, wines, malt and whiskey were mixed in. “Using the highest quality of ingredients we hope to share more than 400 kilograms of cake this season, says Executive Chef of Earl’s Regency.
