‘People will benefit with new limited cabinet’

Matara District Parliamentarian Kanchana Wijesekera said the new cabinet was appointed so as not to give an extra burden on the people but with a mission to save the country and its people from the issues that they had been suffering from for many years.

He was addressing a gathering at Pradeepagara Mawatha, Devinuwara recently.

Wijesekera thanked all those who voted for Gotabaya Rajapaksa and said that the President will bring in prosperity. He added that many politicians attempted to deceive the masses but the truth has triumphed and that this was a historical election in the country’s history.

Parliamentarians Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena, Niroshan Premaratne and former Southern Provincial Councillor Sarath de Alwis spoke.
