The Chialw ASP was arrested on November 22, while he was soliciting a bribe of Rs. 190,000 by the Bribery Commission Officials headed by Investigations Director Priyantha Chandrasiri.
The suspect had solicited the bribe from a woman of Chilaw who owns a kovil of goddess Kali. The suspect will be produced before Chilaw Magistrate today.
