The Special Task Force acting on a tip-off took into custody a suspect with 3g and 590mg of Heroin, in the Mt.Lavinia Police area at Ratmalana yesterday.
The suspect has been identified as Sumith Kumara Fernando (42), a resident of Ratmalana.
He will be produced before the Mt.Lavinia Magistrate court today.
Police is conducting further investigations.
