“We signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Sri Lanka Volleyball Federation to uplift the sport in future. We have a three year plan for this and in the first two years we will conduct National Beach Volleyball Championship for over 18 players while in the last year we have planned to conduct tournaments to school players and mercantile sector players. I think we can get more players to beach volleyball through this plan in the future,” the Director of Sunquick Lanka (Pvt) Limited Mangala Perera said at a press conference held at Olympic House on Tuesday.
