The SLFP Central Working Committee will meet today to decide the type of disciplinary action to be taken against SLFP Advisor and former President Chandrika Bandaranaike Kumaratunga as she has entered into a MOU to support a rival Presidential Election candidate, party General Secretary, Kurunegala District MP Dayasiri Jayasekara told the Daily News in Kurunegala yesterday.
The SLFP Working Committee will meet today at 7.00 pm today under the patronage of party Leader President Maithripala Sirisena.
Chandrika Bandaranaike Kumaratunga has violated the rules of the SLFP on three previous occasions too, Jayasekara said.
He said a decision against all the SLFP chief organisers who had violated the rules and regulations of the SLFP including the group headed by Opposition Leader Mahinda Rajapakse would be taken today at the Working Committee meeting.
