Life sentence for drug dealers

Three individuals who were found guilty for possessing and peddling 4.11g of heroin, were today sentenced to life imprisonment by the Colombo High Court.

The case was taken up before the High Court Judge Gihan Kulathunga and he observed that the prosecutors have proved the case beyond reasonable doubts.

The accused Mohamad Jaffar Mohamad Afsar,Weerasinghe Arachchige Chaminda Weerasinghe and Mohamad Riyaz Fazardeen have been sentenced to life imprisonment.
