A night of Halloween Horror

Spine-chilling and spooky, Mount Lavinia Hotel were hosts to an eerie Halloween party which took place on October 27 Aptly named ‘Hotel Transylavinia’, the hotel transformed part of its colonial wing into the dramatic fortress of the popular Count Dracula.

The Halloween party featured an ambience like no other as guests climbed up the stairs tothe Regency Room which was converted into a grave yard of sorts. Visitors to ‘Hotel Transylavinia’ were met by quite a number of Halloween centric characters, flesh eating zombies, spooky ghosts and werewolves to name a few.

The highlight of the night was the ‘Horror Walkway’ featuring some of Halloween’s well known characters, it gave guests a nerve gripping and adrenaline racing time. With a horrifying scare at every corner, guests were met by the likes of Annabelle, Valak the Nun, Pennywise the Clown, an exorcist and flesh hunting maniacs.

After their frightening fate, guests made their way to the Halloween party. Bringing lively entertainment for the night was the Redeemers Band and DJ Sri. The all hallow buffet spread included sumptuous treats and goodies for both the young and the old.

Wrapping up the night was the announcing of the winners of the ‘Best Dressed’ Competition. 3 Lucky winners were selected from the Kids Category and were gifted with Dinner vouchers entitled for two at the Governor’s Restaurant. In the adults category 5 winners received a ticket to the Grand New Year’s Eve party at the Mount Lavinia Hotel.
