Murder in Depanama

A youth was killed after being assaulted at the Pannipitiya area in the Depanama, Maharagama police area ,during a heated argument.

According to the police, the attack took place in front of a private educational institution.

Investigations have revealed that the incident had occurred at around 12:20am.

The youth who was injured in the attack has been admitted to the Homagama Hospital.

The deceased was identified as Rasika Rukshan, 18, resident of Depanama, Pannipitiya, said the Police.

Suspects have been arrested by the police and the investigations are being conducted.
