A brilliant 102 runs by Dushan Kumara helped Lumbini Vidyalaya Colombo to defeat Harischandra Vidyalaya on first innings by 122 runs in their inter school under 13 division one tournament cricket match played at Negombo.
Dushan hit sixteen fours and one six and occupied the crease for 133 minutes and faced 117 balls and was associated in a one hundred run partnership with Yasod Kavindu who scored 32 runs. Batting first Lumbini scored 186 runs and in reply homesters were shot one for 64 runs wiith Yasod Kavindu taking 4 for 7 runs.
Lumbini Vidyalaya – 186 in 46 overs – (Dushan Kumara 102, Yasod Kavindu 32, Ishara de Silva 3/56, Shavin Hansaka 2/58, Yeneth Sasmira 2/34).
Harischandra Vidyalaya – 64 in 34 overs – Thasika Daham 27, Yashod Kavindu 4/7, Nesandu Ranasinghe 2/9, Thenuka Damsilu 2/12).
