India’s Alliance touches down at Jaffna Int’l Airport

The inaugural Alliance Air flight to Jaffna was welcomed with a water cannon salute at the Jaffna International Airport yesterday and the commencement of short-haul flights between Chennai and Jaffna operated by Alliance Air. Regular commercial flights between Chennai and Jaffna are scheduled to start from early November.
