Death sentence for drug peddler

A man who was found guilty for possessing and peddling over 43 grammes of heroin in 2016, was yesterday sentenced to death by the Colombo High Court. The accused Mohamad Musahir Mohamad Gaddafi (43) is a resident of Maligakanda.

When the case was taken up before High Court Judge Gihan Kulatunga, he observed that the prosecution has proved the case beyond reasonable doubts.
