SLTB to buy 300 buses

The Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB) will purchase 300 Indian buses in the next two weeks. The Cabinet has approved the proposal submitted in this regard recently, Transport State Minister Ashok Abeysinghe said.

He was addressing a press briefing in Kurunegala last week.

He said the SLTB will deploy 5,400 buses for the public who undergo untold hardships due to the Railway strike.
