Mahamaya Blues win annual girls cricket match

Mahamaya Blues beat Mahamaya Golds by 25 runs at the Annual Girls Cricket match of the Mahamaya Girls College, Kandy for the Indra Withanachchi Trophy played at the Aruppola Municipal Playgrounds on September 29 and organized by the Kandy Cricket & Athletic Academy and sponsored by the Champa Stores, Kandy.

The chief guest was the former Principal of Mahamaya Girls School, Kandy Indra Withanachchi and the Guests of Honour were two distinguished parents of two former Test cricketers S. Muthiah (the father of Muthiah Muralitharan) and Shema Sangakkara, Attorney-at-Law,( father of Kumar Sangakkara), and Ralph and Lesley Sharatt of Oxford, England residing in Sri lanka since 2012.
