Prince of Wales’ College, Moratuwa commenced their first outing of the forthcoming first eleven 2019/20 cricket season against Richmond College, Galle under Naduka Fernando and the match ended in a draw due to torrential rain at Sooriyawewa.

Cambrians and Richmondites have a long cricket history and they played their first ever match in 1904 and in that game Cambrians were captained by W. H. Samarakoon and Cambrians beat Richmondites by 7 wickets. The chief scores are PWC 87 and 127 for 3 and Richmondites 63 and 150.
