A ‘floating stone’ was found near the Thaldena Sri Bodhirajarama Viharaya in Badulla, and it is currently being placed in the temple premises as an exhibit.

The stone, which is around 6.9kg in mass, was found by a novice monk while cleaning the temple garden. The novice monk had thrown it into a puddle nearby and had found that it floats on water. He had then brought it to the temple and put it in the pond in its premises.
