Five youths arrested with heroin worth Rs.40,000

Kurunegala Police arrested five youths possessing heroin worth Rs.400,000, last Saturday.

Police also seized Rs.1.3 million they believe to be money the suspects had collected through drug deals.

Furthermore, the suspects also had a gun with 14 live rounds, nine passports, and seven mobile phones with them.

Among the youths arrested were three males and two females. They are residents of Kurunegala. Investigations are continuing.
