Future Minds Career Exhibition 14th edition in Galle

Future Minds, the premier higher education and career exhibition would have the final phase of its 14th edition at Galle from September 7 to 8. The venue for the Galle expo will be Hall de Galle, providing easy access to major cities and suburbs centered around Galle.

The official launch for the expo was held at the Kingsbury Hotel, Colombo on March 19, with the participation of Amena Arif the Country Manager IFC for Sri Lanka and the Maldives as the Chief Guest and Dunya Maymoon Ex-Foreign Minister of the Maldives and daughter of the Ex-President of the Maldives Maumoon Abdul Gayoom.

Amena speaking on education stressed that on the subject of importance of having quality education system in the island. Further she elaborated that quality education matters inclusive sustainable growth of economic of particular country as well.

While making a note on the 14th edition theme “Augmenting the Global Village of Higher Education” Dunya invited to initiate the Future Minds expo in the Maldives and keep the first step as global expo experience in her motherland.

The Colombo edition was conducted at the BMICH and the Kandy edition was held at KCC with record breaking participant for the last 14 years.

The expo is keenly looking forward to students who are willing to do higher education and employment.

The Galle exhibition would host around 45 institutions with close to 60 stalls. These would consists of higher educational institutes including universities from countries such as the U.K., Australia, Singapore, U.S.A, Malaysia, New Zealand, India and many more.

A wide section of students will benefit from Galle exposition in the forum of career guidance, information on various higher education pathways and financial assistance for various degrees and courses. The exhibition hopes to bring good values to all the stake holders of Future Minds that include students aspiring for higher education and their parents at the top.

It is a known fact that the Southern Province produces high rankers in the Advanced Level Examinations. However Galle and the Southern Province as a whole are restricted in access to resources for career planning. Future Minds fills this gap and brings a synergetic forum to the Southern Capital. Students in main cities in the Southern Province including Galle and Matara should not miss this opportunity.

Future Minds extends this value addition to Galle which was successfully implemented curing the last few years in Colombo and Kandy.

This counselling and career guidance project would be organized with the collaboration of SL Counseling Association.
