Anguruwathota Remuna MV wins Walagedara MV Volleyball tournament

The Anguruwathota Remuna Maha Vidyalaya Sports Club, Horana girls volleyball team recorded an easy victory over Sripalee College Sports Club, Horana girls volleyball team 25/20, 25/12 to be crowned champions in the Kalutara District inter-school girls ‘Walagedara Volleyball tournament’ held at the Walagedara Maha Vidyalaya, Matugama playground

Walagedara Maha Vidyalaya, Matugama girls volleyball team clinched third place beating Pothuvila Maha Vidyalaya, Payagala girls volleyball team in this competition.

This contest was organized for the third time by the Walagedara Maha Vidyalaya School, Matugama Sports Unit under the guidance of the school principal Wimal Wickramathanthri with the help of the school senior coach and instructor Welintan Kalambarachchi. More than six school teams took part in this tournament.
