Eastern International School conducted its annual exhibition called ‘World Art and Craft Exhibition’ this year at their school premises in Batticaloa recently.

The Director of the school Thanuja Mowlana presided over the exhibition where Batticaloa District Additional Government Agent Suthashini Srikanth was the Chief Guest.

The children of the school depicted the art, culture and main features of various countries by getting into the costumes of the country they were representing. The presentation showcased the management skills of the administration.

The characters, behaviours and deportment of the children of this institution of 15 years of history are unique. The children are being equipped to face the challenges of the future with the sound knowledge of English.

Batticaloa District Parliamentarian Alisahir Mowlana and Rev Bro Stephen Mathew SSJ Brothers of Charity Batticaloa were present.
