Rs. 10,000 fine, 10 months’ suspended RI for having 20mg of heroin

An accused was fined Rs.10,000 and sentenced to 10 months’ RI suspended for 10 years for having 20 mg of heroin.

Dambulla police arrested the man in Dambulla recently and produced him before Dambulla Magistrate I.M.S.B. Illangasingha. He was convicted on six occasions for similar offences earlier, police said.The accused was a resident of Dambulla. Dambulla police prosecuted.
