Soldier dies during parachute training

During a training session at Ampara ,an Army Special Forces personnel has died in a sudden fall, stated the Sri Lanka Army Media unit.

Military Spokesperson Brigadier Sumith Atapattu said that he had fallen down after his parachute failed to open properly.

Reportedly, the accident had occurred during a parachute training session.

The Army Special Forces soldier had succumbed to his injuries after he was admitted to the Hospital.
