Fishing boat damaged

A fishing boat anchored at Vadamarachchi South Jaffna sea was damaged yesterday.

Several boats anchored at this area were set on fire earlier and police arrested a suspect later. Point Pedro police said a group has restarted to destroy fishing boats now.

Disputes among fisher folks may have led to this situation, police said.

Point Pedro police are investigating.
