Bribery Commission recruits 200 investigating officers

Two hundred graduates will be recruited as investigating officers of the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC), a high-ranking official of the Commission said.

The graduates who have been recruited have been sent for interviews and they will be recruited shortly after their intelligence reports have been obtained.

The selected graduates will be given a six-month training programme and necessary arrangements in this regard have been made, he said.

The Bribery Commission’s Investigation Unit currently has 210 selected police officers.

Therefore, the decision has been taken to recruit more graduates to its Investigation Unit in the next few years and then the Bribery Commission would not need the assistance of the police officers, he said.
