The Graduate Showcase of the Honours Degree of Bachelor of Landscape Architecture, Moratuwa University will exhibit the design projects of the students, especially those of the final year Comprehensive Design Project (CDP) 2019, at Arcade, Independence Square, Colombo 7, on August 15–17, from 9.00 am to 8.00 pm.
The exhibition titled ‘iDALscapes 2019’ is being held for the third consecutive year, under the supervision of the Head, Department of Architecture. Students of the 2014 batch will exhibit their designs this year.
The exhibition presents the final projects of the undergraduates in a variety of fields including urban, social, cultural, archaeological, recreational, and ecological, presenting the potential of the future young landscape architects.
The introductions to the different fields of study that have been undertaken during the four years of the degree programme will also be displayed.
This year, the exhibition seeks to extend opportunities to provide awareness to many of our citizens on the emerging profession of Landscape Architecture.
