Three JMIO activists handed over to TID

Three of the nine activists of Jamathe Millathe Ibrahim Organisation (JMIO) arrested by Ampara Police on information given by State Intelligence Services, were handed over to the Terrorists Investigation Division (TID).

One of these three activists is a close relative of a powerful politician, and he had been named leader of the armed wing of the organization. He is a third year student of South Eastern University, Oluvil.

A TID official, on the ground of anonymity, said that a special team is investigating their activities.
