HelpAge Sri Lanka receives Service Excellence Award from BWIO

The Business World International Organization (BWIO) which empowers the local and the international business community recently highlighted the social services being carried out by HelpAge Sri Lanka (HASL) for less - privileged Sri Lankan Senior Citizens and presented them with the ‘Service Excellence Organization of the year award 2018’ at a ceremony held in Colombo under the patronage of Minister Rauff Hakeem.

This years ceremony was graced by nearly 300 members including politicians, actors, corporate leaders, journalists, sports personalities, film directors and many other reputed personalities in the country.

HelpAge Sri Lanka which was among the top ten (10) award winners received this Service Excellence annual award for providing free Medical and Eye Care and service facilities for less- privileged Senior Citizens in the country.

The USA based organization, BWIO is a world renowned awards presentation organization and it was compelled to select HelpAge Sri Lanka due to its highest standard of ethical conduct, integrity and social responsibility towards a needy section in the society.

The BWIO owns highest honors within the Asia Pacific Region and the main objective of this annual awards presentation is to encourage and help the Sri Lankan business and service sectors to grow and prosper further.HelpAge Sri Lanka , Chairman Deshabandu Tilak de Zoysa accepted the award on behalf of HelpAge Sri Lanka while HelpAge , Executive Director Samantha Liyanawaduge were also present.
