US diplomat Alice Wells to visit SL

United States Assistant Secretary for South and Central Asian Alice Wells will visit Sri Lanka during her 11-day visit to the Indian subcontinent.

The US State Department announced yesterday that the acting Assistant Secretary Wells will visit Pakistan, Sri Lanka and India from August 6 to 16.

She will hold meetings with top government officials during her visit.
