Katana Police probe statue damage

The Katana Police yesterday started investigations into a complaint that the statue of St. Sebastian near the Mahahunupitiya Junction in Katuwapitiya has been damaged by an unidentified group.

Police said the glass covering the statute was cracked.

They said security had been provided to the other statues in Negombo following the incident.
