Varun Beverages Lanka Pvt. Ltd., (VBLL) a leading carbonated soft drink manufacturer and the exclusive bottler for Pepsi in Sri Lanka, has recently been awarded the Best Employer Award for 2019 at Taj Samudra Colombo.

This award, given by the Employer Branding Institute is in recognition of the multiple employee related initiatives taken by VBLL over the years; the most recent being the launch of an integrated employee engagement program encompassing all its employees.

The VBLL Leadership firmly believes in the importance of creating a superior workplace experience for its employees, leading to higher levels of employee motivation, ownership and drive for business results. Their belief is that the ‘people connect’ is one of the top priorities of the company and the core of its business success.

Speaking at the awards ceremony, the Country Head, Amit Joshi and the General Manager HR and Administration, Sadath Rajapaksha, reiterated the company’s commitment towards enabling work culture, focus on performance and continuing to produce world-class products for its customers.
