Chirath Neththaru and Nimod Dhananjaya steered St. Servatius College Matara to innings and 66-run victory against Sandalanka Central College in their second round fixture of the ‘Singer Trophy’ Under 15 Division One inter schools cricket tournament match yesterday.
Chirath Neththaru skipper of St. Servatius Matara displayed good all-round performance against Sandalanka Central College. He scored unbeaten 93 runs and took 7 wickets. Nimod Dhananjaya took 7 wickets for 18 runs.
Right hand opener Sahan Dabare made unbeaten 107 runs in 119 balls with 17 boundaries and 2 sixes against Maris Stella College Negombo at Darley road.
