Electricity pirate fined

Janaki Fernando of Panadura who pleaded guilty to the charge of pirating electricity and causing a loss of Rs.125,000 to the Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) was fined Rs.40,000 and was ordered to pay the entire loss estimated to the CEB and produce the receipt before court.
