Amaya Resorts & Spas in collaboration with Beyond Boundaries Global (Pvt.) Ltd. is launching the first ever Kids’ Adventure Activity Camp “The Great Lake Adventure” at Amaya Lake Dambulla from August 5 – 31.
‘The Great Lake Adventure’ is the first ever edutainment program of its kind in the country, and is designed for kids agedbetween 6 and 18. This highly interactive program gives children the opportunity to engageand form bonds with each other,and develop team-playing competencies,while learning about nature, wildlife and conservation. Children will be disconnected from their electronic devices and will be able to embrace the excitement of the outdoors, and participate inadrenaline charged physical activities. Commencing on August 5, the grounds of Amaya Lake will be home to a world of activities such as Jenga, Board Games, Tree-climbing, Arts & Crafts, Photography Competitions, Charades, Scavenger Hunts, Archery, Paintball, Outdoor Kid's Movies, Obstacle Relays, Tug-of-war, Master Chef Junior Competitions, Kite Flying Competitions, Bonfires by the Lake and Safaris until August 31.The events will be divided into 2 age categories, 6-12 and 13-18. The camp promises to help children make unforgettable memories and dive into brand new experiences.
Parents will also enjoy curated events such as specialmixology shows, yoga &meditation sessions, and cookery demos. There will also be a 40% discount on spa treatments for those who prefer to relax, along withexciting F&B offers.
Essentials such as long sleeved t-shirts, shorts, socks, sneakers, bug sprays, water bottles, bandanas, sunscreen lotion, and caps should be brought along. A doctor will also be on call for any care and attention required. A daily orientation and briefing of the activity agenda will be done by the Beyond Boundaries Resource Personnel.
