‘AVIKI’ low GI wholegrain rice introduced

‘AVIKI’ - a healthy variety of rice produced by Grains n Green Pvt. Ltd., had been introduced to the local market.

“The indulgence in gluten free and low GI Rice and rice products is high among consumers worldwide, as these varieties of rice are produced by the use of natural ingredients,” said Roshan Perera, Managing Director of Grains n Green.

“Hence, consumers need not worry about the presence of chemicals or pesticides in their rice. Moreover, nutrition is the key reason behind eating wholegrain rice. The three new varieties of health rice includes, ‘Forbidden Rice’, ‘Suwandel’ and ‘Kurula Thuda.’
