Jeep with three French tourists shot at in Udawalawe

A jeep with three French tourists travelling in the Udawalawe National Park was shot at on July 20 evening. No one was injured but the side mirror of the jeep was damaged, police said.

The shooting has taken place in the Kandapalama area of the park, about 18 km away from its office.
