Expedite relief measures to tourism, other sectors - President

President Maithripala Sirisena yesterday directed the authorities concerned to expedite relief assistance to the tourism and other sectors which were affected by the Easter Sunday terrorist attacks.

“It is the responsibility of all to efficiently implement the relief measures for the businesses in the tourism sector and other affiliated sectors which were affected by the Easter Sunday terrorist attacks,” the President said.

President Sirisena was addressing at a meeting of small and medium scale business associations at the Presidential Secretariat in Colombo yesterday.

Officials from the Tourism Ministry, Finance Ministry, Trade Ministry and relevant departments participated in the meeting.
